How do I apply for financial aid?

You should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as it becomes available in your senior year of high school and each year you are in college. By completing this application, you have applied for most federal and state financial aid.

To complete the FAFSA you will need an FSA ID (Federal Student Aid), a username and password that allows you to log in to some Department of Education websites as well as access and electronically sign your FAFSA. The first time you submit the FAFSA, you'll need to create your FSA ID and allow 2-3 days for the login credentials to be verified. After your FSA ID is approved, you'll be able to submit your FAFSA.
