Making College More Affordable

Athletes

Athletes considering participation in collegiate athletics should review college recruiting rules and grade point average and testing requirements. Make sure you talk to your counselor or athletic director to ensure your coursework and necessary paperwork are in order.

Sometimes colleges offer student athletes additional scholarships to help pay educational expenses. Check out the postsecondary school profile for the colleges you're considering to see if they offer scholarships for the sport you play.

Learn more about rules and scholarship opportunities from each division's governing body.
