Real-Life Decision Making

It's Monday. The snow's started again. This means Eric (otherwise known as "Big Rick") will probably be late. Ronny, the news co-host, will have to cover Big Rick's TV Ski Report (again). This is a very popular show on Fridays as viewers tune in to see where the best skiing is for the weekend.

Big Rick's co-host, Donna, has been doing the show as long as anyone can remember. She was here even before Big Rick. She is hoping to have a show of her own one day soon.

You have a very familiar feeling in your stomach as your phone rings. "It's got to be Rick!" you mutter as you grab for the receiver. It is Rick. He's stuck and he's going to be late. "Can you believe this snow?" he roars in your ear.

It has been no secret that Rick is looking for a new job. TV is very fast paced. Rick has seen his ratings slowly drop over the last year. He is getting nervous that his show is getting boring and that the station owners are going to cancel it soon. He wants to be gone when that happens.

You must come to a decision about this show. It affects too many people at the station, two of whom are loyal employees.

What do you do?
