Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You sell the hospital your system.

Within a month, you've heard from the hospital administrator that the specialists using the system are disappointed it has so few diagnostic applications. But the system is now installed and the sale is final. The hospital's disappointment with the purchase becomes a distrust of your company. Your sales with them drop off. You wish you had talked them out of buying the computer system.

"You're better off telling them," says sales rep Heather Phillips. She faced a similar situation and talked the hospital out of making the purchase. "It takes integrity to do that."
