Real-Life Communication -- Solution

Medical electronics salesperson Heather Phillips says her company recognizes the need to communicate differently to different audiences. It designs different pamphlets for different clients. "For administration, you go in and talk about serviceability, upgradability and financing. With radiologists, you touch on the technical. What are the clinical applications of the system?" she says.

Technicians

This unit is designed to be easy to use, quick and accurate. Your patients won't have to wait for several minutes while you adjust settings. It has conveniently placed handles, quick release locks and a sturdy hand switch.

It also has a preprogrammed service diagnostic, so if you do have any problems you can solve them yourself. We've built it around a maintenance free battery that can handle 50 exposures before it needs recharging. And it fully recharges overnight. You'll find more detailed information in these pamphlets. Please feel free to look them over and ask me any questions.

Administration

This unit will expand the services you can provide to your patients. It's an investment for your hospital. It's mobile but can take the quality X-rays usually limited to stationary machines.

The AM-4 requires fewer retakes than other systems out there -- that saves time and money. The unit has a preprogrammed "help" function which enables technicians to do any troubleshooting in-house. Anything they can't solve can be handled through our service center, opened 24 hours, 365 days of the year.

We do have flexible financing packages available. Take a look through this brochure and let me know if you'd like an in-house demonstration.

After your presentation, the technicians are interested. The administrators are non-committal. That's OK. You know it can take several months to close a sale! You'll contact the hospital in two weeks about setting up an in-house demonstration.
