Real-Life Decision Making

You live on the East Coast, where you work part time as a glass blower. To improve your skills, you enroll in a summer program on the West Coast. At the end of the six-week program, you're offered a job apprenticing with a well-known glass artist there.

Accepting the job will mean you have to move. As an apprentice, you won't earn more than you are making now working part time. You will have to pay all your moving costs and leave your parents and friends behind.

What if it doesn't work out? You've never been so excited and frightened by any decision in your whole life. You've told the artist you need a week to think about it. What do you do?
