Real-Life Decision Making

In real life, sociologists make dozens of important decisions every day. It can be an awesome responsibility, especially when the decisions you make filter down and affect people's lives.

In social agencies, this is an everyday reality. Such agencies constantly strive to do what's best for the people they serve. But in this kind of work, nothing is ever black or white. Times change, and social agencies, like any other part of society, must change along with them.

Your adoption agency has consistently done a poor job at finalizing adoptions and you need to improve its performance. There are several reasons for the poor performance. Workers are placing children in homes where the chances of the children being adopted are slim, there are communication problems between caseworkers and agency attorneys, and the appropriate paperwork isn't being completed on time.
