Real-Life Decision Making

You've been in the vending machine racket for years and have never had any problems with your units before. Yet, as you drive by Gas and More on John Street, you can't help but notice how rundown one of your machines has become.

The pink "Are You Thirsty Today?" lettering on the side of the machine has faded and lost all of its color, the metal front panel is rusty and the bubbly front display panel is all bashed in. Wow -- looks pretty shabby.

You could shell out the cash to have the beat-up unit replaced. It seems like the right thing to do at the moment. On the other hand, no one has made any complaints about it and, hey, it's still making you the same amount of money it always did!

What do you do?
