Jim O'Gorman has made a lot of recommendations since becoming a telecom engineer in the 1970s. "Most of the time those recommendations have been accepted but there are times they're not," he says. "That's just something you have to accept -- people are not always going to agree with you. That's not the end of the world. And maybe if you were looking at it from their perspective you'd understand their view better."
