Insider Info

Additional Information

Caddying requires a thorough knowledge of the game. Caddies are often very good golfers in their own right.

The art of caddying can be learned at golf clubs that have caddy programs. Students often begin caddying during the summer to earn money and to learn valuable points about the game of golf.

Some colleges and universities offer golf management courses and sports courses. Many have golf teams. The Professional Caddies Association also offers correspondence courses on learning about the rules, history and psychology of the game.
