UC Irvine Libraries

Site Review

One of the problems posed by the Internet is that it removes the need to leave one's home. UC Irvine Libraries is just one more reason to stay glued to your computer screen.

This site offers a comprehensive database on many topics that one would usually research at the library. Although some of it is pertinent to UCI students only, much more of it is useful to the general public. You can find information on things such as world statistics, recent medical discoveries and historical documents among their research resources. From the main library, you can research topics by subject category. Their government resources allow you to access information on a variety of subjects, like law and current events.
