Real-Life Communication -- Solution

You are a camera repairer listening to a customer describe what he did with his camera. You are shocked that he treated his camera so poorly. These are the situations that you think may have caused problems:

  1. He stored the camera in the trunk on a hot day. Cameras can't take extreme temperatures.
  2. The customer drove over a bumpy road. The vibrations may have loosened some screws in the camera.
  3. The customer threw the hot camera into the fridge. The temperature change could cause the camera to rust.
  4. The camera clunked on the floor of the boat, which may have caused damage.
  5. Once out of its waterproof bag, the camera was sprayed with saltwater, which can be damaging.
  6. The camera was submersed in saltwater.
  7. The customer cleaned the lens with some alcohol and an old rag, which probably corroded and scratched the lens.
